Determine the type of motor:
Firstly, it is necessary to clarify the type of tubular motor, including its voltage, current and other parameters, to ensure that the wiring will not cause motor overload or damage due to parameter mismatch. ‌
Identify motor wiring harness:
Tubular motors are generally made of four core wires, with colors of blue, black, brown, and yellow green. Among them, blue is usually the core wire, black and brown are the up or down wires (depending on the motor design), and yellow green is the grounding wire 2. ‌
Connect the power cord:
Positive wiring: Connect the positive pole of the power supply to the positive pole of the motor (which may be one of the black or brown wires, depending on the motor design), and connect the negative pole of the power supply to the negative pole of the motor (the corresponding other wire). ‌
Reverse wiring: If you need to change the direction of the motor's operation, you can swap the positive and negative poles of the power supply with the positive and negative poles of the motor by 12. ‌
Connect the grounding wire:
The yellow green wire (grounding wire) must be connected to the grounding contact of the motor's outer pole rear conductor to ensure safety. ‌
Inspection and testing:
After the wiring is completed, carefully check whether all connections are secure and there are no short circuits or open circuits. Then, the power can be turned on for testing to observe if the motor is running normally.
