How Does The Rolling Shutter Door Motor Work

When it is necessary to open the rolling shutter door, the operator can issue the door opening command through remote control, wall switch, or ground sensor. After receiving the signal, the control system sends a start command to the motor. The motor starts working and transmits power to the spool through the transmission system (such as chains or gears). As the scroll rotates, the door curtain gradually unfolds from the scroll and descends along the guide rail until it covers the door opening. The process of closing a rolling shutter door is similar. The operator issues a door closing command, and the control system commands the motor to rotate in the opposite direction. The scroll then rotates in the opposite direction, and the door curtain begins to rise and gradually winds back onto the scroll until it is retracted.
